Does cold water help prevent wrinkles?

is this a myth, or does it really work. i also heard it helps firm skin...hm?

wrinkles can be formed because of dry skin something in your skin breaks down faster in your skin when it is dry i forgot what it is called and cold water locks in moister so your skin is less dry so this helps decrease the chance of getting wrinkles

According to my b/f, it doesn't work for men like that lol. But it does help firm skin. So it might be true for women but what woman do you know will just constantly put cold towels or something on their face? lol
idk if it helps prevent wrinkles or firms skin, but ik if you put a cold wet washcloth on your eyes for about two minutes or so, it can reduce the bags that form under your eyes!
