Would applying eyeliner around your eyes every day for years eventually leave wrinkles and cause early aging?

Some of my friends do this and they say they are addicted to eye make-up. They do clean it up before they go to bed but I'm worried and also curious. Is there anyone old enough here to say they are living proof to comment on my thesis?Would applying eyeliner around your eyes every day for years eventually leave wrinkles and cause early aging?
I'm 51 hun and I've been wearing eye liner since I was 12 years old! My skin still looks good and I've never even used a cleanser or moisturiser. Plain old (Dove) soap for me everytime!!

You're welcome to see my pic on my 360!!Would applying eyeliner around your eyes every day for years eventually leave wrinkles and cause early aging?
It probably would. There's no way its good for our eyes
Yep theres a lot of hollywood facelifts
?????
NO! Just remember to take it off befor you go to bed..also get a good brand to use, that will help immensely!
I think you are right because the skin area around the eyes is really very delicate and should be treated very carefully. All the daily tugging, etc. at the area by putting on and taking off make up is harmful in the long term.
I did it for years and years hasn't affected my skin.
it is not the putting it on it is the taking it off that will cause wrinkles.
This is not true hon. I am 39 and also have been wearing eyeliner since high school and no wrinkles yet anywhere on my face.
the sun ages you faster than anything. I've been wearing eye liner and other make up for 30 years. the only thing that shows my age is my gray hair, but then like i said I've never been one to lay out in the sun.
well it hasnt done any harm to me and i'm in my forties and dont look my age and have very few laughter lines
Yes, I am living proof, I will not say how old I am, lets just say I have been putting eye liner on inside and outside of my eyes for years! No wrinkles here! Thank you
Yes, if u don't wash your face right or you put too much on.!
Eyeliner is lightweight, so I don't think so. Powdered %26amp; liquid eye shadow can make lines %26amp; wrinkes very noticeable. Not a problem for you at your age. Problem for me at mine. lol Take good care of your skin!
Yes, especially if the eyeliner is dry and pulls on the eyelids. The eyelids and the skin around your eyes is the most delicate skin you have.. Reason being is because you don't have oil glands in that area so the skin is extremely fragile..

Tell your friends to make sure and not use that crappy eyeliner and go with a smooth eyeliner like estee lauder or liquid and not to pull a lot on that skin when washing it off.
i dont think it will, but you never know.
yes i have used make up all my life I am 66 so cut it down now

but i have no wrinkles at all soap and water and plenty of moisteriser
I personally dont think that it does but dats just me.Imean i dont av wrinkles. But im not sayin my age sry!!!
its all about how you care for your skin. use under-eye moisturizers and wash your face and remove all makeup before bed. I rarely wash mine, but I'm italian and have genetically oil but good skin. Im 40 and have NO visible ';crows feet'; or eye wrinkles. Avon has been my lifesaver for over 10 years. I used to have really bad skin, blemishes especially, and now I'm clear and wrinkle free. So far so good.
why would'nt it ? I mean: ';It's not like it's 100% natural !?! `'R';r,r`r'.
No but it might cause eye infections.
it probably would'''
raccoons been doing it for years.lol
