Now I find I am fighting an oily T-zone and a few breakouts here and there, my makeups always ends up looking shiny in a very short ime, and if I wear some powder only it fills the lines of my wrinkles and pronounces them, any suggestions for a smooth product tht can cover but not look shiny and give me the butterface look??I am almost 43, and although I don't loook it, I do fight with wrinkles and fine lines,?
Try MAC Studio Fix Fluid. It's oil-free so it will help to reduce the amount of breakouts caused by makeup and won't result in excess shine. It also has buildable coverage so you can layer it more over areas where there are blemishes. It's long-lasting so it won't wear off around your T-zone as makeup often does. Finally it looks sheer and luminescent, unlike powder foundations which can look heavy and caked on. It also has an SPF15.
However, even liquid foundations, although not as much as powders, can gather in wrinkles and fine lines during the day, especially in the eye area. You might want to invest in a primer to apply under your makeup which will fill in the crevices so that makeup goes on over the top smoothly and stays that way. Laura Mercier makes an oil-free primer (see here: http://www.lauramercier.com/products/fla鈥?/a> ) so it won't affect your T-Zone or breakouts. Using a primer will also allow you to continue using powder over the top of your makeup to minimise shine and set the foundation.
Hope this helps :)I am almost 43, and although I don't loook it, I do fight with wrinkles and fine lines,?
I am 48 and lucky enough to have some guess me to be in my 30's-yahoo! I deal with peeling between my brows and on the sides of my nose at weather changes seasonally and the t-zone thing in the summer here in California. The best I've used is Covergirls oilfree make-up-just the plain everyday stuff. I've tried so many others and since High School always come back to that. I use Cocoa butter lotion like a nut and the new wrinkle line of lotions that Kohls carries-they are great. Because I am opposite you at times, needing to add lotion. I wash in the morning, then apply lotion and water wash it off-like a watered down version, wiping it off with a towell. Then apply covergirl-I actually will thin it down in the summer too-with a drop of water as my tan gets on-just a pleased customer I guess but for the price its the best.
Try some cheap instant lift. It's what I do. Wrinkles! I hate them. Not fair to get old and have wrinkles and pimples!
43 u dont look a day over 16!
